We are Belarusian volunteers who have been defending Ukraine from Russian aggression since 2022. During this time, we have been through a lot: we were in the Volat battalion of the Kalinovsky regiment, participated in reconnaissance, logistics and assault operations. Today, the war has changed – and so have we. Now we work in the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) unit, because drones have become key at the front.
Drones help conduct reconnaissance, monitor the front line, deliver medicine and evacuate the wounded. We have been trained and are ready to work, but we lack the most important thing for the mobile group to work – transport.
We need a reliable car to transport equipment, drones and help evacuate victims from the front line. Now, we often use personal cars, but they break down quickly and cannot withstand the conditions of the front.
We are raising funds for a Volkswagen T5, converted to suit the needs of the group. Its cost is 7,000 euros.
