The Ukrainian authorities view the Belarusians as allies of the Russian aggressors. At the moment, there is little information in Ukrainian society about modern Belarus, about the resistance of the Belarusian opposition against Lukashenko and the aggressor Putin. Taking into account this problem, we have created a project aimed at overcoming the distrust between the Ukrainians and the Belarusians, the support of Belarusian volunteers and volunteers on the territory of Ukraine. The ultimate goal of the project is to promote democratic processes in Belarus itself and the victory of the Ukrainian armed forces in the war against the common aggressor, informational support of the actions of Belarusian volunteers, activists in Ukraine, Poland and, if possible, in Belarus.
Belarusian Information Center is a part of activity of Information Agency Western Information Front (www.zahidfront.com.ua) and uses media accounts and Certificate of this organization. With this initiative we would like to strengthen the editorial staff of the Belarusian Information Center from one person (head of the center) to 4 persons, adding 3 additional specialists, namely 2 journalists and a cameraman. We plan to create a fund for translation of texts into Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian. These changes will allow us to prepare more necessary video material for Telegram and YouTube channels. We are planning to purchase video and computer equipment to improve the quality of video for YouTube channels. This will improve the technical ability of the editorial office to work with social networks and channels like YouTube and Telegram.
How much is needed?
We need 5000 € to pay a TV reporter, a journalist-administrator, a cameraman; translations into Belarusian, Polish and Russian; computer and video equipment; a professional camcorder; three laptops.
