I spent the period from September 25, 2020 to April 20, 2021 in the detention center in Minsk under Article 293 p2. Before the trial the article was changed to 342 part 1. After which I was sentenced to 3 years with a claim of 22,000 Belarusian rubles “for blocking roads on August 9 and 10, 2020. In September 2021 it was decided to leave the country, because it became known that they were going to start a new criminal case against me for the events of September 23, 2020 and also for blocking roads.
Together with my 12-year-old daughter, we urgently left the country, taking only basic necessities with us. At this moment, we need help to start life from scratch in a new country, where we will be forced to rent an apartment, without the possibility of returning home in the coming years.
