After the arrest of the head of the public organization “Alternativa” Oleg Korban (accused under part 1 and part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code, “organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them”) to avoid detention and arrest, was forced to leave for Ukraine. Immediately after I left Belarus, the IC began actively searching for me at my place of residence and registration. I was summoned for questioning. After the investigation authorities were convinced that I wasn't on the territory of Belarus, I was offered to come to the IC upon my arrival in my home country.
At the end of September 2021 the police started looking for me again. I am actively sought at my registration address in Belarus. I am also the owner (journalist) of an independent regional website “Vitebskiy Kuryer news”. I was detained by police while covering protest marches in Vitebsk. At present I am administering this independent Internet media. Due to the consequences of my illness I cannot work properly and need medical treatment. Due to the difficult situation in my life I need material assistance.
