In 2021, I was convicted for participating in peaceful rallies in 2020. I spent two years in prison — the whole time. During this time, I was fired from my job.
In the colony, they put me on a preventive record and recognized me as an extremist. Therefore, every week for several years I will have to go to the police department. In addition, twice a week, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs check me at home.
Due to the fact that I was imprisoned on a politically motivated case, it is now difficult for me to find a job.
I am in need of financial assistance to pay utility bills for the apartment, buy medicines, groceries, a telephone, and undergo a medical examination.
Now I am going through a very difficult time and it is embarrassing for me to ask for help, because I have always worked and tried to solve my problems myself.
