In 2020 I voted for Svetlana Tikhanovska, and after the elections I participated in protests. During one of the actions, when my friends and I were helping women and children leave the danger zone, I was wounded by a flash-bang grenade. I received gunshot wounds to both legs and a closed injury to my scrotum.
Due to the threat of persecution in Belarus, I was unable to receive full medical care. Therefore, when my condition began to deteriorate, I decided to leave. Now I am abroad.
