Transport for a Belarusian drone team in Ukraine

  • Story

A group of Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine works with UAVs and is raising funds for an electric bike to enable fast and safe trips on the front.

Hello!
We are Belarusian volunteers, former fighters of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment. We have been at the front for three years. Furthermore, we served as infantry, reconnaissance, and logistics. Now we work with drones. They reveal enemy positions, correct fire, and help evacuate the wounded.

For our mobile unit to operate effectively, we need fast and reliable transport. We often use personal cars, but they do not withstand front-line conditions. That is why we are raising funds for an ELEEK Atom Military – a quiet and inconspicuous electric bike designed specifically for the front. It is maneuverable and off-road capable, does not require fuel, and is suitable for carrying equipment and drones as well as evacuating wounded.

When choosing a photo for the fundraiser, I remembered one incident I want to share so you better understand what we face and why this appeal is needed:

One morning the weather was overcast, with a light haze of fog and the smell of artillery. We were on rotation; I sat beside the driver and showed him the route. Halfway along, at an intersection, there were several pops… we ran over an anti-personnel mine – a flower (slang for a small fragmentation/petal mine). This is a fairly common hazard on front-line roads, and in fact it was fortunate that we lost only wheels and not limbs. We had to get out, look for a connection, and wait for evacuation. I tell this because vehicles have become consumables here. Cars often break down, get blown up, and greatly slow us down.

That is why we want an electric bike for deployments.
Thank you for your help!
