Unfortunately, I can't give my name and tell in detail our story with my mom, because I'm afraid that they will come to me and make my mom's life in the colony even worse.
But we need your help.
One of the important threads that connect my mom and me and allow us to support each other is the possibility to communicate through a lawyer. Because a lawyer in modern Belarus is a person who can find out how things really are for a prisoner and convey a message from his relatives.
This is an important thread, but you have to pay for it. We try to cope with it ourselves, but we have accumulated a big debt for the lawyer's services. 5600 Belarusian rubles.
