My name is Sergey. In 2020 I was collecting signatures for Babariko V.D. and was also an election observer. After Babariko V.D. was detained, I supported Svetlana Tikhanovskaya in the elections.
In January 2021, he was detained and sent to Okrestina. At the time of my detention I was subscribed to independent telegram channels and left comments under the posts. For this I was sentenced to 3 years of “chemistry” under Articles 391 and 364, plus compensation for moral damages to the “law enforcement” officer and the “judge” in the amount of 5000 Belarusian rubles.
I have a family — a wife and two children.
After the verdict, I lost my job and had to urgently leave Belarus. Because of my unemployment, I faced with big financial difficulties. My family stayed in Belarus, and I want to take them to my place.
