Support for Naumenko Alexander after an emergency exit from Belarus

  • Story

The pressure of the law-enforcers began in February 2022, when the KGB decided to close the independent trade unions. I was twice summoned for “conversation”, as I had been deputy head of Rechytsa primary organization for 9 years.

Then the KGB offered me cooperation. I refused. Last autumn I was detained by the Investigative Committee right at work. I was accused of connections with illegal armed formations. The investigator offered me to do “one job” in order to avoid going to jail. I refused. I only got twenty-four hours for messenger links. After that I lost my job.

In December 2022 I received an official warning from the prosecutor's office. It wasn't until January 2023 that I was able to get a job at a small firm. Two weeks later I was taken off the job again by the SC. After a phone check, they let me go. Some time later I was invited to the KGB, where I was told that a criminal case was opened against me for financing extremist organizations.

I had to urgently leave Belarus with one backpack and a small amount of money. Now I'm in Poland. I'm still looking for a job, so I need a little support to buy some food and basic necessities.

How much do I need?

500 € – to buy food, to buy basic necessities.
