Since August 2020 they have actively participated in the protest movement. Both in mass and local actions: marches, chains of solidarity, distribution of information with appeals to resistance to the regime. We were engaged in installation of propaganda banners in the form of stretch banners in Minsk, maintained private accounts in social networks.
We are an individual entrepreneur and worked under contract for many years with an organization in Minsk. After the management learned about our situation of active citizenship, we were asked to leave the place of work. After that, while staying in the Republic of Belarus, we had to survive on odd jobs.
We were subjected to pressure from the guardianship authorities. A notice was sent to us to check the living conditions of the children. They threatened us by phone that they would confiscate our children. We moved out of our permanent registration address and lived at another address on the territory of Belarus.
A month ago the GUBOPI detained our closest contacts. We don't know their current whereabouts, but they haven't contacted anyone we know. We know that they confessed and, apparently, recorded a video, under pressure, where they repented of their actions. Since they have our data, we're urgently looking for a new place to live after what happened. At the same time we were left without a livelihood. A family of 5 people. In order to establish themselves in a new place, we need money for housing and food for the first 2 months.
