Years of Supporting Belarusian Volunteers

In 2022, many Belarusians went to Ukraine to fight against Russian aggression. BYSOL launched a fundraiser to support Belarusian volunteers.

In total, people donated almost €180,000 (€179,446.49). More than €106,000 went towards purchasing vehicles for the front, around €25,000 towards their repair and fuel, and almost €24,000 towards purchasing uniforms. Another €24,000 was spent on equipment, protective gear and other necessary expenses, including payment system fees (around 3%).

The funds raised were distributed among different groups of volunteers, depending on what was needed at a particular moment. We considered applications from everyone who reached out for support, regardless of their unit. Volunteers who applied for assistance and passed the verification process were eligible to receive funding.

Behind every donation was a specific request: in some cases, transport was needed for the front, in others, equipment repairs or protective gear. The foundation was able to provide this support thanks to the large number of people who continued to help Belarusian volunteers throughout this time. We believe it is important to preserve this result and remember how much we were able to accomplish together.
