Andrei Stryzhak leaves BYSOL

On Monday, September 29, Andrei Stryzhak informed the BYSOL team of his decision to leave the organization, despite the Directorate’s earlier decision on a six-month cooperation period in the role of consultant. On September 30, he will sign the documents transferring the founding papers.

The organization is also facing structural changes.

Most current members of the Directorate had previously announced their imminent departure from the Fund. The team has already created a Working Group that will initiate amendments to the Charter and develop a new procedure for electing the governing body.

Members of the organization who had earlier declared their intention to leave have been invited to reconsider their decision in light of the new circumstances.

We are doing everything possible to ensure that these changes do not affect assistance to victims of repression and that BYSOL remains a strong and effective organization.

We count on your support and solidarity!
