Children’s Fundraiser results: 181 children received support!

We are wrapping up our Children’s Fundraiser launched ahead of the new school year. Thanks to your donations, 111 families in Belarus and other countries, including large families, received support.

As part of the Children’s Fundraiser, BYSOL provides €100 for each child. These payments are possible thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who contributed to the initiative. The assistance is intended for children of political prisoners — both those whose parents have already been released and those whose parents are still in prison.

The fundraiser was made possible with the support of BYSOL’s friends and partners. We raised money through a charity auction, and during a screening of the FIFA World Cup final, we held a charity prize draw. Together, these events raised €1,177.

We would also like to thank Talaka, an organisation of Belarusians in Denmark, for making a significant contribution to the Children’s Fundraiser.

Our next Children’s Fundraiser will be for Christmas. May the magic continue!
